Our Story - From humble beginnings

Born in Sydney in 1977, Richard spent the first 20 years of his life in the suburb of North Ryde, living with his Parents and Grandmother. The home was surrounded with tress and gardens containing  roses, geraniums, lavender and more. Richard soon acquired a love for gardening, following in his Grandmothers footsteps, he soon learned that plants and flowers have different properties scents that can have effects on our health and the way we feel.

After graduating high school, Richard studied landscape gardening and design, being awarded Certificate for his efforts. His designs were pleasing to the eye, but the also contained scented seasonal plants throughout the gardens offering desired effects on the senses.

Richards love for plants and his interest in the natural properties contained in them soon saw him making his own bath and body products. The products were so popular among friends and family that in early 2003 Pure Sensations was born.

For many years Richard has researched ingredients from around the globe, trying all products on himself and family. Only the best ingredients were selected to make the line Pure Sensations. In October 2005 Richard married his best friend Pamela and coming from a Chinese background she brought different views on blending oils and using herbal ingredients. Together they now create the wonderful products you see on this website, and will continue to create new and exciting products as they progress.

Today in its sixth year, Pure Sensations can be found in many Salons, Day spas. hotels and many other retailers and market venues Australia Wide. Pure Sensations is also a favorite in gift hampers and promotional packs and Pure Sensations products are used in many professional businesses such as Massage and natural healing centers.
